“The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and He knoweth

them that trust in Him” (Nahum 1:7). This is a beautiful verse taken

from the prophet Nahum whose name means consolation. It is a

gentle reminder that the goodness of God extended to His children is

a hiding place, defense, and strength in the day of adversity. What a

great comfort that He personally knows all who truly take refuge in His

promise, word, and finished work.
