The Incarnation

“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord” (Luke 2:11). The very purpose Jesus came into this world was to save sinners. Since it was a man who sinned and fell, it would need to be a man to redeem fallen man; but there was no one sinless. Because man is fallen and polluted, God became a man and was born of a virgin of the seed of David. He lived a holy, perfect life; He was crucified, died, and was buried. On the third day, He rose from the dead. Make Him the Lord and Savior of your life. That’s the Christmas story in a few words. Have a merry, blessed Christmas!
