Rejoice! You’re Free!

2 Corinthians 3:17 “Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there

is liberty.” The world gives no liberty (freedom). Freedom is not found in a pill bottle or

booze bottle or in anything else bottled up. Freedom is found in a Person–not in your

neighbor, favorite preacher, or fellow brother/sister. The Person in Whom freedom is

found is Jesus. Jesus came to set the captive free. He came to deliver us from the power

of darkness, the world and its system, as well as ourselves. There is freedom where the

Spirit is. He lives in you and me. We’re free due to His sacrifice on the Cross. We’ve

been set free. Thank God that he Whom the Son sets free is free indeed!
