Our Loving God
- Back To The Cross

"The Lord is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of
great mercy” (Psalm 145:8). The depth of this verse needs to
express to our hearts the profound love of our Lord. While we were
yet sinners, He was gracious, compassionate, long-suffering, and
patient. “The Lord is” can never be understood until we look to the
Cross–the One Who loved us and gave Himself for us and the One
Who is able to keep us from falling. He is the One Who presents us
faultless. As we lose power, waver, and faint, the Lord upholds the
fallen and raises up all who are bowed down. Bow, church, in
humility to His ever-loving character
