“Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass” (Psalm 37:7). All around the child of God are evil devices and schemes that attempt to discourage us. As Christians, we need to remember that we are the MOST privileged of people. Christ has invited us into ultimate fellowship with Him. It’s during the time of waiting we really enjoy what it means to rest in Him, His presence, as we sit at His table.
