“But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and He that formed thee, O
Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art Mine.”
(Isaiah 43:1). Wow, just ponder that word (promise/truth)! God the Creator of the
universe knows you intimately. He knows your name. A name refers to one’s character,
makeup, identification of being, a son or daughter. John 1:48 says, “Nathanael saith unto
Him, ‘Whence knowest thou me?’ Jesus answered and said unto him, ‘Before that Philip
called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee.’” Nathaniel asked God, “How
do You know me?” Man does not know you. A prince, monarch, or prophet cannot say
this; neither can any other religious figure communicate this declaration, nor can any king
decree this. But our Lord does. Our Prophet, Priest, King declares this! He knows you.
He has called you by name. He saved you! He delivered you! He loves you! Hallelujah!
