“Go and Strengthen Thy Brethren”

“And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have

you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy

faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.”

Luke 22:31-32 Jesus was able to foresee Peter’s denial; He warned

him ahead of time. Moreover, Jesus was able to predict Peter’s

repentance and restoration as well. “But I have prayed for thee…but

when you are converted” (not if, but when) “strengthen thy brethren.”

Peter did just that in the Great Commission. Hallelujah!
