Freedom–Joy

As a young boy, early June would thrill me. School was over, well, at least until September. The thought of having a whole summer off produced in me an incredible sense of freedom and anticipation. John 8:36 says, “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall befree in deed.” What Jesus did for us on the Cross brings forth a sense, a realization, of absolute freedom with no Septembers following.
