Cryout: Grace, Grace

“Who art thou, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying,‘ Grace, grace unto it’” (Zechariah 4:7). In Zechariah’s vision, there building of the temple would be accomplished through God’s leaders Joshua and Zerubbabel. Any time our Lord calls us to a task, there will be attacks, hindrances, and roadblocks. Through it all, we have to realize that we are given God’s marvelous Grace. Perhaps our Lord alluded to this in Matthew 21:21, “Jesus answered and said unto them, ‘Verily I say unto you, if ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, ‘Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea’; it shall be done.’”
