A Verse That Will Preach

“But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumbling block, and unto the Greeks foolishness”(1 Corinthians 1:23). The foundation of all victory is found in this verse. Sadly the world (and even some of the church) places something–philosophical notions, psychology, or perhaps religion itself–in lieu of this glorious truth. This verse strongly expresses that everything else is absolute foolishness. “But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God” (1 Corinthians 1:24).
