“A Promise”

“And while they looked stedfastly toward Heaven as He went up, behold, two

men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, You men of Galilee,

why do you stand gazing up into Heaven? This same Jesus, which is taken

up from you into Heaven, shall so come in like manner as you have seen Him

go into Heaven.” Acts 1:10-11

What a promise! Our Lord is coming back. The words so shall come is the

Promise. The twenty-second chapter of the book of Revelation. John writes,

“He which testifies these things says, ‘Surely I am coming quickly.”’
